My story

Learning as I go.
Building as I learn.

I’m a self-taught entrepreneur building a life and career through experience. I work full-time, run my own ventures, and keep developing the skills to take the next step.

Learning through the work

With Shipley’s Detailing, I’ve been involved in the entire customer experience: the first conversation, the preparation, the detail itself, and the final vehicle delivery. It has given me a practical education in business. You learn quickly that people remember how you communicate, how you follow through, and how much care you put into the result.

I enjoy the hands-on side of it. Taking something that needs attention and making it better is satisfying. The work also pushes me to think about the decisions around it—pricing, scheduling, presenting the service, and earning a customer’s trust.

Building around a full-time job

I’m building these ventures while working full-time. That makes time a real constraint. I have to decide what deserves attention, use the hours I have, and keep moving even when progress comes in smaller steps than I’d like.

Along the way, I’ve taught myself web design and worked with CRM systems, automation, and lead generation. Those skills have become another part of my entrepreneurial path through Shipley Solutions Group. I’m learning how to connect the practical work of serving a customer with the systems that support a business.

Making room for the next chapter

I’m preparing for the next chapter of detailing as a mobile service. It’s a chance to rethink how I operate and carry the same care into a different setup. That process is teaching me to adapt the business as my experience grows.

I’m still early in the journey. I want to keep building skills, make thoughtful decisions, and create a foundation that gives me more independence and room for the life I want to build.

What I’m learning

How I want to move forward.

Strategy, systems, and growth shape how I use my time, learn new skills, and make decisions.

01

Strategy

Be deliberate.

With a full-time job and businesses to run, I have to choose where to put my attention. I’m learning to set a direction and focus on the next useful step.

02

Systems

Build consistency.

I want the way I work to support the commitments I make. Good habits and clear processes help me follow through when the schedule gets busy.

03

Growth

Keep learning.

Every customer, new skill, and difficult decision adds to my experience. I want to stay open to feedback and use what I learn in the next chapter.

Where I want to go

A future built
with intention.

My long-term ambition is to build multiple businesses and create lasting value through the work. I want to develop the skills, judgment, and operations to support that ambition.

I also want the independence to choose what I work on and the room to pursue new ideas. That starts with doing the work in front of me, building a stable foundation, and learning to make better decisions.

This site is a snapshot of where I am today. There’s more ahead, and I want the story to reflect the work it takes to get there.

My work

Where I put it into practice.

The companies I’m building are part of that story. Each gives me a different kind of experience.
